Where To Begin?
▼
Feeling overwhelmed and the welcome guide didn’t help much? Don't worry, we’ve got you! For the first‑timer in the investment world, we recommend beginning with a conversation with our Assistant.
Simply click the Assistant button in the bottom right corner of the Dashboard screen and start chatting. (find out more about the assistant in the What Can an Assistant Do section).

Once you know your target amount, your investment strategy, first assets, and the amount you want to invest, you can either ask our assistant to create a goal and a first portfolio for you, or do it yourself. (Check our articles on How to Create a Portfolio and How to Manage Portfolio as well as How to Create a Goal and How to Track Your Progress?)
We also recommend joining our growing community. You can find out more information about it in the How to Join the Community section.
What Can an Assistant Do?
▼
Our assistant is not a magician or a wizard, but it does have a few tricks up its digital sleeve!
First of all, it is here to answer all your questions about investing and financial planning. And don’t be shy! There are no stupid questions. We don’t judge here. Our assistant is designed to guide and help you through the most difficult first steps of your journey on building long-term wealth.
Second, it is still a work in progress, so it might glitch, please try again if these things happen, or text us at [email protected] with your feedback and suggestions, we really appreciate it!
Once you’ve got your plan figured out you can:
- Ask the assistant to create a new financial goal for you. It will add a new target amount to the Dashboard page. (Find out more about setting financial goals in How to Create a Goal and How to Track Your Progress? sections.)

Financial goal. - Ask to create a new portfolio with the assets, target amount and plan you align on with the assistant. You can also ask it to update your existing portfolio.
- The Assistant can also create a financial goal for you in the Dashboard. Don’t forget to link it to the corresponding portfolio if you want to track the progress (find out more about it in How to Create a Goal and How to Track Your Progress? sections).
Please note that the Portfolio is for educational/visibility purposes only. Currently, you cannot actively trade assets via urPayDay. However, all the prices are up-to-date.
How To Create a Portfolio?
▼
A portfolio is a place where you can see all your assets listed. It’s an overview of how much you have already invested, the percentage of the investment in various types of assets. Each type is colour coded and grouped for your convenience.
There are two options to create a new portfolio:
- Option 1: Ask an assistant to create it for you after your planning session with it.
- Option 2: Go to Manage Portfolios tab and press the Plus button:

Create a new portfolio from the Manage Portfolios tab.
Fill in the name of the new portfolio, start adding assets by simply typing in the name. The system will start prompting options from our database. You will need to only indicate the amount of assets you would like to add. Press Save to finish the process. To add a new asset to the portfolio, simply press the Add asset button at the bottom of the table.
How To Manage Your Portfolio(s)?
▼
Once you have created your first assets, you will need to follow the actual portfolio rules, like you would do when trading. This is not an excel table, where you can simply remove rows.
Adding more assets
To add more of the existing assets, you need to Add cash first, so you can “purchase” more of them. Press Add cash at the top of the table to be able to buy more of the chosen assets.

Once the cash is added to your balance, like you would do in your real‑life portfolio, you can click on the row you’d like to add more assets to and press Buy.

Once you press Buy on the popup window, the cash balance will be updated and the number of assets will be changed as well.

Rebalancing your assets
In case your investment strategy has changed, or you simply need to rebalance the number of assets in each category (you can see the overall percentage of each asset next to the group name), you can sell some of the unwanted assets and buy more coveted ones. To do that, select the assets you’d like to sell by clicking on the corresponding line and press Sell:

Fill in the amount you’d like to sell in the popup and press Sell.

The Cash balance will be updated automatically.

Manual editing
You can also edit the amount of assets manually, in case you made a mistake or needed to fix the amount without changing the cash balance. To do so, simply edit the corresponding field and press Add to save changes:

For educational purposes, we do not recommend overusing this option at first. If you are a beginner, using features like Cash, Buy and Sell can really help you understand investment and prepare for the actual portfolio design. You can continue using our portfolio to see how balanced it is. Especially, if you have different assets like crypto currency, ETFs, Bonds and Commodities.
How To Create a Goal?
▼
Setting goals can be so inspiring! We understand how important it is having a transparent overview of the progress we make while building your long-term wealth.
There are two options to do that:
- Ask our Assistant to do that for you (find out how Assistant works here: What Can an Assistant Do).
- Go to Dashboard, press the Plus button and fill in the details of your new financial goal:

Press Save (the cloud button) to save your goal. Once done, you can link it to your portfolio to watch the progress live. To do so, press the Edit button in the top right corner of your goal’s tile and press the Link button:

Choose the desired portfolio from the drop-down menu to link to your goal:

Once you have linked your portfolio to your financial goal, you can see the progress live on the progress bar, or in detail, by simply unfolding the financial goal tile:
